Commentary on Needle Felting
Oh me oh my ive been waiting for ages to get a proper work station, my knees dont quite cut it when there’s either a cat or dog squabbling for a cuddle! I was forever dropping needles on the floor only for them to roll under the sofa, ‘twas extremely time consuming to say the least! Not any longer, this ‘space saving’ desk has been patiently waiting in its box all week as annoyingly, for someone so organised and practical I suck at flat packs! I mean I can do them but I usually put a piece in the wrong way round and have to start again! My infinitely patient husband has been mega busy all week so in its box it has remained, until today! And boy was it was worth the wait, I’m beyond happy with my little work space and ive loved nothing more than bringing out all my treasures collected throughout the years to decorate accordingly. Now to get to work!

Anyone else get over excited when a new stash of wool arrives?! No just me? I must be getting old 😂 Well I was so chuffed to get my hands on this amazing selection from Claire’s Crafts Create and I cant wait to start on my next commission, a troupe of Gnomes! #agnomeisforlifenotjustforchristmas
You can find Claire on fb or her website and she’s super helpful and sweet, she even included a little goody bag with biscuit and tea! http://www.clairescraftscreate.com

Wow who knew leaving facebook and setting up independently would be so much fun…..and liberating?! Thanks for coming over to my site and I hope you like what you see, I know I enjoyed making them! This blog section is a place for me to show you any work in progress, tutorials and tips ……

Fast forward 5 days and this little sheep has turned into the cutest little pup dog, this commission is now finished and will be making its way to one happy customer.

I get really nervous when I’m creating which is ironic as its supposed to help with stress! Annoyingly I’m a perfectionist so I’m constantly tweaking bits here and there because I want it to be perfect for the customer. I want them to be wowed and I dont think there’s anything wrong in having that high standard.
Handmade creations take time and a lot of patience, there’s outgoings from the off as well, sometimes something small might look a bit over priced but its always worth remembering the love and attention that go into each one.
