Hi I’m Kerry from PrettySkitty

I create bespoke gifts and keepsakes from a variety of mediums and I try to incorporate nature that i’ve sourced locally whenever I can. Needle felting is my passion and its amazing to have a ball of wool one minute but with a bit of time and patience you see it transform into a unique piece of art.

I have always been a creative person and I’ve tried many different styles over the years. I have a degree in Contemporary Art which I studied in my hometown of Manchester, England. PrettySkitty was born just before my second child in 2010, I needed an outlet and a way to destress after running around after two little ones all day! I started making fabric wall art and personalised sock advents as well as selling at the local craft fairs. Sadly life got in the way and my creativity and was put on hold……for about 10 years!

I began to experiment with needle felting during Lockdown 2020 and really took to it. There’s something very therapeutic about hammering out a piece of wool! Once you get the hang of it you can create some wonderful things and I highly recommend people give it a try!
